Reclamation of Workout Rollers

VEER INDUSTRIES came into existence after serving the industry under the banner of PREMI BRIGHT ELCTROPLATERS since 1978 offering the customers services on the latest automated machinery and equipment, PREMI BRIGHT ELECTROPLATERS earned a name of repute for the quality and services they offered. After achieving an enormous success in the field of Hard Chrome Plating VEER INDUSTRIES has enhanced to the field of Thermal Spray Coating keeping in mind the current market trends.

Grinding of Rollers

Utilizing cranes up to 25 ton capacity in 15000 square feet facility, Veer Industries is fully equipped to finish the parts to very exacting tolerances with four (4) imported grinding machines with an accuracy within 5 microns.

The maximum capacity for Grinding Machines is 1800 mm in diameter and 6000 mm in length. The plant is equipped with highly skilled operators who deliver exact customer requirements. We have the ability to grind true radial crown, convex or concave cambering precisely to new or used rolls.

Hardchrome Plating

Veer Industries are the accepted standard of metal finishing techniques particularly for machine parts like rotation parts of motors, pumps, compressors, hydraulically and pneumatically operated equipment etc. which are subject to wear and tear due to friction. A major advantage of hard chrome plating is that it is a relatively COLD process. There is no fear of distortion of metal. Therefore components can be designed more economically. Other benefits accrue due to an excellent adhesion of the chrome metal to the base material, a substantial improvement in surface finish and long life due to lesser erosion. By analyzing customer’s needs, we service them with various sizes of baths. The maximum size of bath is of 2000 mm diameter and 6000 mm height. It has got a semi-automatic rectifier of 15 volts and 15000 amps with accurate temperature controllers for the bath. The plating solution is backed up with an in house chemical laboratory for regular chemical analysis.

Electroless Plating

Under Electroless nickel plating (EN) we deposit an even layer of nickel-phosphorus or nickel-boron alloy on the surface of a solid material, or substrate, like metal or plastic. Unlike electroplating, it is not necessary to pass an electric current through the plating solution to form a deposit. We can achieve a hardness of 60-65 HRC as per the client requirements.

Copper Plating

Under Copper plating layer of copper is electrolytically provided over the surface of an item to be plated. It takes place in an electrolytic cell where electrolysis which uses direct electric current to dissolve a copper rod and transport the copper ions to the item in a container of water in which a copper rod, and the item are placed. The water contains an ionic solution which allows direct electric current to flow from the copper rod to the item. The copper rod is the anode and the item is the cathode. This current flow causes the copper to ionize, become oxidized which means each atom becomes positively charged by losing an electron. As the copper ions dissolve into the water, they form a coordination complex with salts already present. The copper then physically flows to the item, where it is reduced to the metallic state by gaining electrons. This forms a thin, solid, metallic copper film on the surface of the item.

Copper plating material surfaces presents a number of advantages to substrates. The primary reason for copper plating is to improve the conductivity of a substrate, copper is highly conductive - only silver is a more effective metal at conducting electricity. As a soft metal, copper is also malleable and so has the inherent flexibility to maintain adhesion even if a substrate is subject to being bent and manipulated post plating. When electroplated, copper provides a smooth and even coverage which therefore provides an excellent base for additional coating or plating processes. Corrosion resistance is another advantage to copper.

Thermal Spray Coating

High-Velocity, Oxy-Fuel (HVOF)

High-Velocity, Oxy-Fuel, (HVOF) devices are a subset of flame spray, There are two distinct differences between conventional flame spray and HVOF, HVOF utilizes confined combustion and an extended nozzle to heat and accelerate the powdered coating material, Typical HVOF devices operate at hypersonic gas velocities, i.e. greater than MACH 5. The extreme velocities provide kinetic energy which help produce coatings that are very dense and very well adhered in the as sprayed condition.

Plasma Spray

Plasma spray is the most versatile of the thermal spray processes. Plasma is capable of spraying all materials tht are considered sprayable. In plasma spray devices, an arc is formed in between two electrodes in a plasma forming gas, which usually consists of either argon/hydrogen or argon/helium. As the plasma gas is heated by the arc, it expands and is accelerated through a shaped nozzle, creating velocities up to MACH 2. Temperatures in the arc zone approach 360000F (200000K). Temperatures in the plasma jet are still 180000F (100000K several centimeters from the exit of the Gun. )

Wire ARC Spray

Wire arc spray is a form of thermal spraying where two consumable metal wires are fed independently into the spray gun. These wires are then charged and an arc is generated between them. The heat from this arc melts the incoming wire, which is then entrained in an air jet from the gun. This entrained molten feedstock is then deposited onto a substrate. This process is commonly used for metallic, heavy coatings.
